TMB opens branch in Kancheepuram district

Madurai, Nov 1 Tuticorin-based Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB)’s 195th branch with ATM facility was inaugurated by Ms Poongothai Aladi Aruna, Tamil Nadu Minister for Social Welfare at Sholinganallur in Kancheepuram district.

On the occasion, Mr G. Narayan Moorthy, Managing Director and CEO of the bank said that the bank has been giving more thrust to priority sector advances. The bank is placed in strong position with reference to capital adequacy ratio. A business volume of Rs 20,000 crore has been set as an objective to be achieved. The bank has tied-up with Asset Management Companies such as UTI AMC, ICICI Prudential AMC, Franklin Templeton AMC and Reliance Mutual Fund to sell mutual fund products to its customers, he added.
