MDL Energy signs pact with US co

New Delhi, Nov 2

MDL Energy Pvt Ltd, an EPC contractor in the petroleum and marine engineering space, has announced the signing of an agreement with NYSE-listed US firm Superior Energy Services Inc (SESI). The co-operation agreement is slated to be converted to a joint venture agreement shortly, a company release said. Mr Ashley Lane, Director, SESI, said that the company will form a joint venture with MDL to build two new ‘lift boats’, which will cater to the needs of the Indi an oil and gas sector and bring in more cost-effective means of maintaining and servicing offshore oil and gas wells and platforms, the release said.
