Symphony buys CTSpace captive unit

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Nov. 2 Outsourced product development firm Symphony Services has acquired the Pune-based captive development centre of CTSpace, the US-headquartered SaaS business process management and collaboration solutions provider.

As part of the deal, CTSpace is transferring its Pune-based R&D subsidiary and employees to Symphony. As a result, it will benefit from Symphony’s accelerated product delivery, expertise with software-as-a-service (SaaS) products and an established governance and technology infrastructure, Symphony said in a press release. CTSpace was created as a result of the merger between BuildOnline and Citadon, both leading SaaS collaboration providers. Following the merger, CTSpace experienced increased demand for its products from both existing customers and new enterprise clients.
