Mixed show by NSE entrants

Cera Sanitaryware today made its entry into the NSE at a premium of 6.59 per cent as against the base price of Rs 147.30. It opened the trading at Rs 157, reached a high of Rs 158.95 and a low of Rs 140.15, before closing at Rs 146. Total number of shares traded for the day was 7,570 shares. On the BSE, the stock closed at Rs 145, a drop of 2.68 per cent over the previous day’s close.

Energy Development

Energy Development Company today made its debut on the NSE at a premium of 9.72 per cent against the base price of Rs 164.05. It opened at Rs 180.90 – upper circuit filter, and closed at that price itself. The stock has already been listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, where also it finished at upper circuit price of Rs 180.85. On the BSE, about 16,500 shares got traded.

Bajaj Electricals

Bajaj Electricals, however, made its debut on the NSE at a discount of 1.07 per cent against the base price of Rs 363.70. It opened at Rs 359.80, which is also day’s high, and touched a low of Rs 331.25 before closing at Rs 348.80. About 3,450 shares got exchanged.

On the BSE, the stock closed with a drop of 3.27 per cent at Rs 334.65.

Arrow Webtex

Arrow Webtex today made its first appearance on the NSE at a premium of 1.36 per cent against the base price of Rs 351.90. The stock opened the day at Rs 400, which was also day’s high, and touched a low of Rs 380.10. It closed at Rs 392.80 with 3,497 changing hands.

On the BSE, the stock closed at Rs 389.6, a drop of 1.29 per cent over Thursday’s close.
