Tractors India Q2 net rises 83%

Tractors India Ltd (TIL) has recorded 83 per cent increase in profit after tax to Rs 3.95 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, compared to Rs 2.16 crore achieved during the corresponding quarter of 2006-07.

Net sales for increased to Rs 130.7 crore (Rs 108.34 crore) . PBT grew by 69 per cent to Rs 9.34 crore (Rs 5.52 crore).

Pointing out that TIL’s rating for short term borrowing has been upgraded to PR1+ by CARE, Mr Sumit Mazumder, MD and CEO, said, “Thanks to the buoyant economy and upsurge in the sectors TIL operates in, we have accomplished noteworthy successes.”
