The Hindu Business Line : Enertia Awards presented

Nineteen companies from the power and energy sector belonging to the public and private sectors were presented with the Enertia Awards 2007. Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation, Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Petronet LNG Ltd were among the winners. The lifetime achievement award was presented to Dr V Krishnamurthy, Chairman of the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council, for his contribution to the power and energy sectors. - Our Bureau
