Software Marketing - New Products & Services Cradle forays with Janus Our Bureau Pune, Nov. 4 A manufacturing facility in the country, 25 per cent market share and finding more applications for its surveillance solutions – the road map that California-headquartered Cradle Technologies has chalked out as its plan here. Dr Suhas Patil, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cradle Technologies, told presspersons the company has launched the first product from the surveillance solutions in India, Janus. It is a product based on Cradle’s proprietary and patented multi-core digital signal processing performance and is used in processing the video and audio signals for various purposes including business and security. He added that it enables OEM (original equipment manufacturers) to develop fully integrated video surveillance systems for security, remote monitoring and remote supervision. Dr Patil said the company is entering the domestic market with channel representatives and channel partners. He said it was targeting around 25 per cent of the market share within three to five years. Cradle has joined with SenSen Networks for crime fighting solution built on Janus. The solution is based on automatic licence plate recognition application. It has also partnered with Intellvisions Software Ltd to launch its Trinetra products, which is a secure video surveillance product for small- to medium-sized firms.
