44% rise in Ansal Housing net

New Delhi, Nov. 4

Real estate firm Ansal Housing and Construction Ltd has posted 44 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended September 2007 at Rs 13.08 crore. "The second quarter result is in line with our expectations and reflects the healthy growth of the company. The company has attained an all-round growth, with higher production and sales volumes. During this quarter, the company has received approvals for its Group Housing Project at Zirakpur and for its two commercial projects at Ghaziabad. These projects are expected to further increase the sales volume and scale of work undertaken by the company," Mr Kushagr Ansal, director of the company said. The company's turnover was up by 35 per cent to Rs 64.56 crore during the period. - Our Bureau
