G.E.T Engg to sell Somar’s ‘Powerboss’

Our Bureau

Chennai, Nov. 5 G.E.T Engineering, a Chennai-based power engineering construction company, has tied up with UK-based Somar Technology to distribute Somar’s ‘Powerboss’ range of energy saving motor control products in India.

According to Somar Technology’s Web site, ‘Powerboss’ products dynamically adjust power to a motor as its load changes. By constantly monitoring the motor’s load, it calculates the exact amount of power required at any time.

This helps reduce the amount of electricity used and increases the lifespan of motors.
