NComputing forays into Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Nov. 5 Leading personal computer (PC) solutions provider NComputing Inc on Monday announced its foray into the Gujarat market promising its technology could make a single PC to be shared by up to 30 users simultaneously, reducing hardware cost by 50 per cent.

Mr Raj Shah, Chief Marketing Officer, said NComputing offers hardware for schools, e-governance and businesses that cannot afford the high cost of computers.

“NComputing has bridged the digital divide between the affluent who can afford the computers .”

NComputing product uses the unused capacity of a computer and comprises a software that enables a single PC to be shared by multiple users whose monitors, keyboards and mouses are connected to the access device.

Costing a minimum of Rs 4,000, this device brings down the cost of infrastructure, installation and maintenance.
