Workshop on lightning protection

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov.5

The Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (Cissa) and the Lightning Awareness Cell, Regional Energy Centre, in association with the South Asian Technology Research and Information Centre (Satric), Sri Lanka, are organising a workshop series on lightning protection. The series will unfold in four major cities in south India from November 12 to 20, according to Mr V. R. Sabu, programme coordinator. The two-day workshops will be held at Bangalore on November 12 and 13; Chennai on November 14 and 15; Coimbatore November 16 and 17; and Kochi, 19 and 20.
