Kochi, Nov. 6 The Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation has opened its 10-day Lepakshi Heritage Collection Exhibition at Gangotri Kalayana Mandapam here.

Exclusive collection to traditional handicrafts and textiles from different parts of Andhra Pradesh are on display. The craft persons will demonstrate and sell their wares directly.

A special discount of 10 per cent on handicrafts and 20 per cent on textiles is offered during the exhibition. The expo will be open from 10 am to 9 pm everyday, including Sundays and public holidays.

Famous Hyderabadi pearls, leather items, black metal, pottery items, wooden toys and wooden carvings, jute wall hangings etc are in show, besides artistic cotton and silk sarees from Mandanapally, Mangalagiri, Kalamakari, Chirala, Venkatagiri and Pochamppally in attractive shades in traditional designs.

Exclusive collection of dress material furnishings from Mangalagiri, Chirala, is an added attraction.
