Fire at Aurobindo Pharma unit

Hyderabad, Nov 7

A minor fire accident occurred in one of the manufacturing unit's of the Hyderabad-based, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd (APL), here late Tuesday night. According to APL, the accident took place in one of the production blocks of Unit 5 situated at Pashamylaram, on the outskirts of Hyderabad in Medak District. This API (active pharmaceutical ingredients) unit consists of ten production blocks. However, this incident will not affect the regular operation of the said unit, the company informed the stock exchanges. - Our Bureau
