Global trade fair begins on Nov 14

New Delhi, Nov. 7

The India International Trade Fair (IIFT), showcasing the manufacturing excellence of Indian companies, public and private sector, would begin from November 14 here for two weeks. The 27th edition of the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) will have its theme "processed food and agro industries" and Himachal Pradesh is the `Partner State', while Meghalaya is the `Focus State', the Chairman and Managing Director, ITPO, Ms Sheela Bhide, said in a news conference today. The fair is to be inaugurated by the President of India Ms. Pratibha Devisingh Patil. Ms Bhide said that the fair has attracted over 7500 exhibitors from India along with overseas participation from 43 countries. - Our Bureau
