Bangalore, Nov. 9

Bharat Electronics Ltd has elevated three of its general managers as Executive Directors with effect from November 1. Mr D.A. Mohan, ED (Telecom & Broadcast Systems) at BEL-Bangalore; Mr Anand Kumar is ED (BEL-Ghaziabad); and Mr V. Sundararaman, ED (Technology Planning) at the Corporate Office in Bangalore.

Mr Mohan, an electrical communication engineer from IISc, Bangalore, joined BEL in 1971 and has served on production, R&D, marketing and procurement fronts. He had a stint at the company’s New York office and secured a PG diploma in electronics under a Dutch fellowship. Mr V.Sundararaman, a BE (Mechanical) from Annamalai University and MBA from the University of Delhi, joined the Ghaziabad unit in 1971. He has headed the Chennai regional office and Machilipatnam unit. Mr Anand Kumar, a mechanical engineer from Delhi and M.Tech from IIT-Delhi, joined BEL-Ghaziabad in 1971. The shares of BEL were up 0.36 per cent at Rs 1,855 on Friday against the previous close of Rs 1,848.40. —
