Buses to be diverted

Chennai, Nov. 11

The Tamil Nadu Omni Bus Owners Association has decided to divert all its buses to Chennai via Perungulathur, Irumbuliur Bridge and Maduravayal to Koyambedu Bus Terminal, avoiding the Tambaram-Guindy route on Monday. A press release from the association, quoting its President, Mr A. Afzal, says the decision is to avoid expected traffic congestion as people would return to the city on Monday after the long Deepavali holidays.
