Human Resources States - Tamil Nadu ‘Performance alone counts for career elevation’ Our Correspondent Madurai, Nov 12 Tastes and preferences on music have undergone a sea-change with every generation but the basic love for music has remained as strong as ever. Similarly, in a globalised state, despite all the changes happening around a person, the quest for intellectual capital remains as strong as ever, observed Mr Bharath Krishna Sankar, Chairman and Managing Director, Aparajitha Group of Companies. Stating that transformation of individuals is taking place at a rapid pace in the context of moving from a course of study to work life, the individuals are left with only the opportunities to grab and the basic five qualities for success remain the same as ever, he said while inaugurating the Business Line club at Madurai Institute of Social Sciences, here recently. Explaining the transformation, he said that changes happen in the form of maturity, personality, communication, rational thinking, interpersonal relationship etc. In the work life, the individuals are required to get tuned to the demanding situations. As corporate money is at stake, the luxury of choice is no longer there. They need to perform to grab the opportunities that come their way. With no job branded for men and women, that performance alone counts for career elevation needs to be realised. Age also no longer acts as a barrier. More Stories on : Human Resources | Tamil Nadu
