Tata Steel to take part in Jharkand fest

Our Bureau

Mumbai, Nov 14 Tata Steel will participate in Udyog Mela in Jharkhand, beginning on November 15. The date marks the birth anniversary of the legendary Birsa Munda. The colourful stall of Tata Steel this year is based on the theme Ateet Se Bhavishyas Tak (From the past to the future).

Through its display at the mela, Tata Steel has identified the precursors of rural development and progress. While water, forest, land and minerals play a vital role in the well-being of people, the company also acknowledges the importance of cultural diversity.

Through the platform of mela, the company aims to strengthen the potential of the people and promote Jharkhand as a self-reliant state.

Tata Steel’s stall, depicting the industries based on minerals, signifies the importance of growth in all spheres of life.

The stall explains the ‘Tata Steel Pariwaar’ initiative, wherein the company takes care of the upliftment of the socio-economic status of the displaced or project affected families.
