KVB, BoI in remittance pact

Coimbatore, Nov. 15

Karur Vysya Bank has entered into an agreement with Bank of India for effecting foreign remittance. As per this agreement, non resident Indians in Singapore would be able to remit sums by way of demand drafts drawn on identified branches of KVB from the Singapore branch of BoI. Both banks are exploring the possibilities of collaborative efforts in areas such as buyer’s credit and opening of Letter of Credit.
