Maditssia to host meet on adopting computers

Madurai, Nov. 16 The Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia) is organising a two-day programme on ‘Adopting computers in your every day work-style’ on November 17 and 18.
According to Mr Ashwin Desai, Panel Chairman, IT, Maditssia, in these days of globalisation every house has a computer and every office, irrespective of size has more than one computer.
Today, no business can survive without the use of a computer and no business can grow without Internet. Under these circumstances, the two-day programme is intended to equip everyone to handle Internet, manage e-mails, to supervise and extract work from office and to access data through servers.
The programme content includes basics of information technology, accounting and management made easy, office applications,
Internet and better use of Internet, e-world and open source software and so on. The sessions handled by experts will be both in English and Tamil along with practical training.
A registration of Rs 300 is charged per participant and the seminar is held at K.L.N. Engineering College, Madurai.
