Tetley green tea leaf in packets

Tata Tea Ltd on Friday announced the launch of Tetley green tea leaf in packets for the domestic market. According to a press release from thecompany, the 125-gm box of green tea leaf will cost Rs 50. It might be recalled that Tata Tea launched Tetley green tea in tea bags in November last in regular as also in two delicately flavoured variants — green tea with lemon & honey and green tea with ginger, mint and lemon. With the launch of green tea leaf in packets, the company, will now be able to reach out to a wider section of consumers who prefer green tea in leaf format as opposed to tea bags, the press release added.
