Fullerton funds Nellore eye camp

Hyderabad, Nov. 18

Fullerton India Credit Co, a non-banking finance entity, has organised a community eye-screening programme - Save the Eye - in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. A medical team from the LV Prasad Eye Institute, which is partnering the project, provided services such as screening, diagnosis, and free medicines and spectacles. Fullerton India, which has a branch in Nellore, is implementing the project with the support of local staff and funds. Its `Neighbourhood Financing' focuses on providing a range of financial services to customers, said Mr G.S. Sundararajan, Managing Director and CEO, in a press release. Nellore is a key market for the company and the initiative is part of its larger programme to help local communities in areas where it has operations, he added. - Our Bureau
