CUMI acquires IVP unit

CHENNAI: Carborundum Universal Ltd today informed the stock exchanges that it paid Rs 6.25 crore for the industrial ceramics unit of the IVP Ltd.

“We have taken over physical possession of the industrial ceramics division along with transfer of services of workers and employees of the undertaking,” the company said in a note to the stock exchanges, adding that it paid Rs 6.25 crore as consideration on “slump sale basis”. — Our Bureau
