Nuclear power

In these days of horrible global warming the Indo-US nuclear deal will be proved hazardous. Besides, the nuclear power is the costliest of all. The cost of generating just one unit of nuclear power is Rs 5.50, while that of the gas based power is Rs 3.50. The hydro power generating costs only Rs 1.50. According to renowned scientists of the world, there is no remedy against the impact of the radio-actives of nuclear power and its “residue”.

Thus, the nuclear power not only costs more but is also harmful to the human life. We can’t dare to ignore the leakage of radio-actives in one of the Russian nuclear energy generating stations in the recent past.
