IBS Software Services will provide its iCargo integrated supply chain management solution to All Nippon Airways Co Ltd (ANA). IBS, which is based in the Technopark-Thiruvananthapuram, develops IT solutions for the travel, transportation and logistics industries. iCargo will address the current and future requirements of the airline’s cargo operations, said a company spokesperson.

iCargo is a cargo management system that provides web-enabled features that offer better product distribution. The system is an integrated solution that supports all the requirements of an airline’s cargo/freight business and can support the growing business needs of an airline while reducing cost of ownership and operation of the system, the spokesperson added. Mr Toru Sato, Senior Vice-President, Information Technology Services, ANA, said “Our decision to choose iCargo was prompted by our need for a system that would help us address the rapidly growing air cargo business around the world.”
