Letters Wanted: Better cities The fast growing mega city of Hyderabad has no place for pedestrians and cyclists. Is this not an absolute environmental irresponsibility on the part of the present and former local, state and central governments? The other maga cities in the country do not seem to be in any better position in this regard. Indian cities must benchmark themselves against Vancouver in Canada which ranks number one among all the cities in the world in terms of quality of living. I had a chance to visit this wonderful city recently. I am wondering if any of the Indian cities would catch up with it even during the next five decades. R. P.
