Evinix Accessories’ retail plans

Mumbai, Nov. 26

Hedging its risks in the exports business, Evinix Accessories is turning to the domestic retail industry. With plans of launching 125stores under the name CUT (Comfortable, Urban and Trendy), the textile company is targeting youth in tier-II and III cities by bringing in 32 global brands at its stores. Marking an investment of Rs 170 crore, the company intends raising the money through internal accruals, IPO and partly through debt and equity. CUT would offer garments w ith limited editions and then go into the discount mode, if it does not go off the shelves.
