Auto component maker Minda Industries Ltd has been awarded the National R&D Award 2007, by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology. This has been conferred for developing new handle bar control system for motorcyles below 200 cc. MIL led by N.K. Minda Group said that in the first six months of the technology going commercial, it accrued a business of Rs 30 crore from Bajaj Auto Ltd.
