Amar is Lenovo India new MD

Bangalore, Nov 27

Computer maker Lenovo India has announced Mr Amar Babu as its new Managing Director. He replaces Mr Neeraj Sharma. Mr Babu was recently Chief Service Delivery Officer and member of the executive committee of telecom operator Idea Cellular. He has also been in charge of Intel’s business in South Asia. “Lenovo India is a key contributor to Lenovo’s global momentum. I am confident that Amar’s ability to lead and manage high performance teams, his tra ck record for developing internal talent and his understanding of the role of culture in a company’s success will aid our growth in India,” said Mr David Miller, President of Asia Pacific and Senior Vice-President, Lenovo Group, in a release. —
