Jagdish launches Orbett biz hotels

Pune, Nov 28 The Pune-based Jagdish Group of Hotels Pvt Ltd is investing Rs 100 crore over the next five years in setting up a chain of 4-star business hotels in tier two cities, and unveiled the first property under the Orbett Hotels brand here today.

The second property of the chain, an 80-room hotel is under development at Hinjewadi and will be ready in 18 months time, Mr Akhil Agarwal, director of the group, said adding that a total of 800 rooms in ten hotels would be built in Nagpur, Hyderabad and Kochi amongst other cities. All the Orbett hotels will offer international vegetarian cuisine.

The first of the Orbett hotels, built at an outlay of Rs 20 crore, is entirely wi-fi, has 26 executive deluxe rooms and two suites, a lounge bar Satellite, banquet halls Jupiter and Pluto with a capacity of 125 guests and a well equipped board room that can be rented out to a corporate on an hourly-basis.

All rooms are equipped with a LCD televisions and a massage shower specially imported from Italy, while every floor has a colour code that makes identification easy. It offers parking facilities for 40 cars.

The promoters also have interests in the construction business under the Srimangal and Siddhivinayak banner. This is the group’s second hotel in the city.
