The Hindu Business Line : Wipro adjudged Global MAKE winner

Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro Ltd, informed the BSE on Wednesday that it has been recognised as a winner of the 2007 Global MAKE (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises) Award. It was also ranked first in the Information Technology sector in `Creating an environment for collaborative knowledge sharing' and `Creating a learning organisation' categories.

This is the second time that Wipro Technologies has been recognised as a Global MAKE winner. The MAKE winners are chosen by a panel of Fortune 500 business executives and leading knowledge management and intellectual capital experts after an initial short-listing based on nominations by the panel. The awards are administered by Teleos, an independent knowledge management and intellectual capital research firm. - Our Bureau
