Telecommunications Marketing - New Products & Services Samsung unveils open market CDMA phone Our Bureau Mumbai, Nov. 29 Samsung Electronics Ltd has launched Samsung MAX, the company’s first open market CDMA phone, through its own distribution network and will be available to both Tata Indicom and Reliance mobile subscribers. With the introduction of Samsung MAX, consumers will be able to choose the operators of their choice. “We expect to fuel the growth of the Indian CDMA industry through the launch of Samsung MAX in the open market. Fully feature-loaded Samsung MAX is launched to serve the multimedia needs of the CDMA consumer,” said Mr Hyunbai Kim, Vice-President & Head - CDMA Division, Samsung Telecommunications India Pvt Ltd.
