MTNL launches multilingual SMS

New Delhi, Nov. 29

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd has partnered with Geneva Software Technologies Ltd to launch multilingual short messaging service for its mobile users. The service enables customers to send SMS in 11 different languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali and Gujarati. The SMS charges will be Re one per message for post-paid subscribers and Rs 2 for pre-paid card users. —
