BSNL centres for biz complaints

Chennai, Nov. 29

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is setting up eight data centres in Chennai to address corporate connectivity complaints related to leased lines and broadband. According to senior BSNL officials, the centres, expected to be operational from December 1, will work round-the-clock and complaints would be addressed by the nearest centre. A team would be sent on site to verify problems, if necessary. Each telecom circle is expected to set up similar data centres in the next 2-3 months, officials said on the sidelines of a meeting organised by the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
