Chennai to host meet on public relations

Chennai, Nov 30 The 29th All-India Public Relations Conference will be held in Chennai between December 13 and 15, according to a press release from the Public Relations Society of India – Chennai Chapter, which is hosting the event.

Over 250 professionals are to participate in the 3-day conference.

The theme is public relations and infrastructure development in India.

The keynote address, to be delivered by Dr Partha S Ghosh, Founder Director of the Boston-based Partha S. Ghosh & Associates, will deal with infrastructure in India in a critical brand-India overview, the release said.

Public relations in the field of infrastructure, which is of national significance, is of importance because there are many areas of miscommunication relating to infrastructure which impacts society, the release said.

Other speakers include experts and senior officials from a range of companies in infrastructure, funding and international consultancy.
