Pune, Nov 30

Organised by the Department of Science and Technology (DST),Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Intel, IRIS (Initiative for Research & Innovation in Science), will be held in Pune from December 6 to 8 in Pune. A statement said the fair has received 2,000 project entries from school students across the country. The first category involves participation from students in 5th to 8th standard (under the age of 13 years), the second category involves 9th to 12th standard (under the age of 20 years) and third category involves college/PG students (under the age of 35 years). IRIS is expected to touch over 20 lakh students in more than 25,000 schools and institutes in the country by 2010. —
