Starcom Worldwide MD to quit

Mumbai, Nov. 30

Starcom MediaVest Group has announced that Mr Manish Porwal, its Managing Director, India-West & South for Starcom Worldwide, will be leaving the network in January to pursue another career opportunity. Mr Porwal has been with the network since 2003 and has grown in his responsibility steadily since then. He assumed charge of his current role in January 2007. Mr Porwal said,“My stint in Starcom has been the best five years of my professional life. I have enjoyed every moment here, got a lot of love, respect and guidance and have grown as a person and as a professional.” The search for a new leader for this position is in progress and an announcement is likely to be made over the next couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, as announced earlier, Mr Nikhil Rangnekar will take over as Executive Director and Head of India-West operations, effective December 1.
