Growth without equity

That the country is poised to record over 9 per cent growth this year is good news indeed. But growth without equity is undesirable.

The Government says the economic growth would have a spill-over effect, benefiting all sections of society.

But the sad reality is the benefits have not reached 24-crore people who are still below the poverty line.
