2 banks cut FCNR, NRE deposit rates

Mumbai, Dec 3 Bank of Baroda and Dena Bank have cut interest rates on FCNR (B) and NRE deposits with immediate effect.

In the case of FCNR (B) deposits for both Bank of Baroda and Dena Bank, the interest rates on dollar deposits of various tenures are: one-to-less than two years 3.71 per cent (3.89), two-to-less than three years 3.19 per cent (3.71), three-to-less than four years 3.25 per cent (3.78), four-to-less than five years 3.34 per cent (3.88) and for five years 3.44 per cent (3.97).

For NRE deposits the revised rates for both banks on deposits of one to less than two years is 4.46 per cent (4.64), two-to-less than three years, it is 3.94 per cent (4.46) and three years and above, it is 4 per cent (4.53).
