Promotions & Offers Info-Tech - Telecommunications States - Tamil Nadu Vodafone’s special services for Sabarimala pilgrims Our Correspondent Madurai, Dec. 3 Cellular service provider Vodafone Essar has come up with special services for pilgrims travelling to Sabarimala in Kerala. The facilities for prepaid recharge at retail outlets en route to Sabarimala has been increased and for post-paid subscribers from other States, facilities to make bill payments at Vodafone Stores and Vodafone Mini Stores across Kerala have been enabled, according to Mr Kumar Ramanathan, Operations Director, Vodafone Essar, Tamil Nadu. In addition to a cell site on wheels at Nilakal, new cell sites on the way to Sabarimala have been added to provide better connectivity to pilgrims, and battery rechargers have been installed in various locations. Further, in association with the Kerala Police, Vodafone will provide assistance to pilgrims to reach police control rooms at Pamba, Nilakal and Sannidhanam through an emergency toll-free number 99461 00100.
