Coimbatore, Dec. 3 The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has adjudged the Tamil Nadu State Apex Co-operative Bank Ltd (TNSC) as the ‘Best Channelising Agency’ for the year 2007, recognising its missionary role in the distribution of financial and other services to the physically challenged in the State.

The TNSC Special Officer, Mr A.S. Govindarajan, received the award on behalf of the bank from the President, Ms Pratibha Patil.
