‘Innovative Solutions Award’

For innovative use of technology, across and beyond business, DM Review, a technology publication, has identified Ohio headquartered insurance and financial services company – Nationwide Insurance for the ‘Innovative Solutions Award’. The implementation of the data management infrastructure is said to support an innovative Master Data Management (MDM) initiative. Named FOCUS (Faster, Online, Customer-driven, User-friendly and Streamlined), the data infras tructure, when put to use, consolidates and centralises data from different sources, integrates ledgers, charts and spreadsheets. According to Nationwide, FOCUS has redefined the role and operating model of its core finance functions, processes and systems. Nationwide has in a release admitted that the FOCUS initiative has helped it save close to $1 million in the first year alone and enhanced productivity —
