FIEO workshop in Mangalore

Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will conduct a workshop on ‘Growth opportunities and emerging trends in international trade’ in Mangalore on December 10.

A press release said here on Monday that the workshop will discuss trade finance facilities available to exporters, rupee appreciation and hedging tools, products available to assist working capital shortages, international marketing solutions for SMEs, apart from discussing the issues confronting the export growth of SME sector.

The programme intends to help the existing exporting firms to increase their growth apart from helping new and upcoming exporters.

Mr Arvind Singh, Commissioner of Customs, Mangalore, will inaugurate the programme. Mr Walter D’Souza, Convenor of FIEO Committee on Agro Exports and AEZ, will deliver keynote address. The programme is being organised jointly by FIEO and ICICI Bank, the release added.
