Bajaj vehicles sales down in Nov

Our Bureau

Pune, Dec 4 Bajaj’s motorcycle sales at 2,09,876 were 2 per cent lower in November 2007 against 2,14,321 in the corresponding period of last year, according to a company release.

The total two wheeler sales also saw a dip by one per cent, with sales at 2,11,600 (2,14,329).

The three-wheelers sales were 18 per cent down with sales touching 24,197 units (29,384). The continuing de-growth in 3-wheelers reflects the sluggish state of that market.

The total two and three wheeler sales stood at 2,35,797 (2,43,713), a three per cent decline.

Exports register growth

The release said exports, however, had shown strong growth with 46,295 vehicles being exported in November 2007 against 36,086 in November 2006, an increase of 28 per cent.
