Gemini offering services to UniverCell

Chennai, Dec. 4

Gemini Communication Ltd, a Chennai-based communications and networking solutions provider, has been chosen by UniverCell Telecommunications, a mobile retailer, to provide total information technology infrastructure services. Gemini will provide ‘scoping and sizing’ of the IT infrastructure requirement, vendor identification and co-ordination, deployment and system integration. The offer also includes mapping to compliance standards as per ITIL & ISO 27001, says a Gemini press release. Mr D. Sathish Babu, Founder, UniverCell, said in the release that the company is looking at opening 1,000 stores in 1,000 days and Gemini’s expertise in IT sector will provide support for the betterment of its IT infrastructure. —
