Dipping output: Sample pulses on display for sales at a retail outlet in Kochi, Kerala. Domestic pulses production, after hitting a peak of 14.94 million tonnes in 2003-04, declined to 13.38 million tonnes in 2004-05 and 13.11 million tonnes in 2005-06 due to adverse climatic conditions. However, it is expected to recover this year on higher support prices. –
