Bio-diesel unit at Vizag

Hyderabad, Dec. 5

Southern Online Bio Technologies Ltd will set up its second bio-diesel unit at the multi-product SEZ near Visakhapatnam at a cost of Rs 90 crore. The APIIC (Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation) has allocated 10 acres to take up the 250-tonne-a-day capacity unit at the SEZ coming up at Atchutapuram. "The location is advantageous for us. The proximity to the Gangavaram Port would help us import vegetable oils from abroad and export the finished products," Mr N. Satish Kumar, Managing Director, said here in a press release. -- Our Bureau
