Claridges Hotels inks pact with Worldhotels

New Delhi, Dec. 5 Hospitality player The Claridges Hotels and Resorts has entered into an exclusive tie-up for distribution, sales and marketing support with WORLDHOTELS, a Europe-based company, which has numerous regional and international hotel brands in its kitty.

The partnership has been inked keeping in mind the future requirements of the hotel industry.

“Our hotels will be expanding its capacity and we want to be prepared for it. Both inbound and outbound tourism is increasing phenomenally. An international affiliation will give us a headway to our future plans,” said Mr Peter J. Leitgeb, President and CEO, The Claridge Hotels and Resorts.

Three hotels from The Claridges Group in Delhi and NCR region will be a part of the WORLDHOTELS’ global portfolio in India. The tenure of the agreement is for a period of five years.

The company currently has a portfolio of over 500 hotels spread across 300 destinations and 70 countries worldwide under its three different brands of Deluxe Collection, First Class Collection and Comfort Collection, said Mr Roland Jegge, WORLDHOTELS Vice- President, Asia Pacific.
