Roadways Industry & Economy - Real Estate & Construction Big names line up for UP expressway project Our Bureau New Delhi, Dec 6 Several big companies that include DLF, GMR, Reliance Energy, JP Group, GVK Constructions, Nagarjuna Construction and Omaxe have lined up for the Rs 30,000-crore project of the UP Government to build 8-lane road between Greater Noida and Ballia, it is learnt. The project will be executed by a special purpose vehicle on design, build, finance and operate model. The project bid was invited by the Uttar Pradesh Government to develop 1,047 km long 8-lane access controlled expressway at an estimated cost of Rs 30,000 crore. In a press release issued by real estate firm Omaxe, the company said that Omaxe will bid in consortium with GVK constructions and Nagarjuna Construction Company.
