Medical services accreditation workshop in Mumbai

Our Bureau

Mumbai, Dec 6

Demand for health services is burgeoning. Rising incomes, heightened awareness and demographic pressure have combined to create a massive market for medical services. Medical tourism is booming too. However, many stakeholders including service providers and consumers may not be fully aware of healthcare standards and their compliance.

To address this felt need, the Western Regional Council of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organising a seminar on December 15 in Mumbai.

Doctors, healthcare managers, administrators, quality professionals, medical and para-medical staff and related others can acquire first knowledge about processes and steps involved in accreditation of medical services.

One of the major objectives of the seminar is to help service providers scale up and make the services internationally acceptable by complying with quality standards set by accrediting agencies.

FICCI is bringing professionals from major accredited hospitals that have adopted world-class standards. The process of accreditation will help boost consumer confidence.
